Struggling to survive under one roof, a family battles financial strain and a bitter landlady, testing their bonds and dreams.
Victims of austerity, Nelo and Idalia move to the home of Idalia's mother in Mem Martins. Carla, the couple's eldest daughter, is self-proclaimed independent, but can not live without the help of her parents. Aidinha, the youngest daughter, dreams of becoming a popular singer. The boyfriend of Aidinha, Elias, is a "lover boy" and works as a DJ. The day-to-day life of the family is haunted by the presence of the landlady, Analia, a bitter and suspicious woman, who does everything to get them out of the house.
