"I Want to Meladze" is a high-stakes reality series and the male counterpart to the popular show "I Want to Be in VIA Gra." Young men from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Belarus audition and compete for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join a brand-new boy band created by acclaimed music producer Konstantin Meladze. Unlike traditional casting formats, this show emphasizes pure talent and magnetic charisma--regardless of age, social status, or physical appearance. Contestants undergo a rigorous audition process featuring both "silent viewings" by pop divas Eva Polna, Polina Gagarina, and Anna Sedokova, and "blind auditions" judged by Timati, Sergey Lazarev, and Vladimir Presnyakov Jr. The entire competition is captured on camera, offering viewers not only spectacular performances but also real-life emotions, friendships, rivalries, and the personal evolution of each contestant.
