Alejandro is an immigrant in a relationship with an older woman (Maggie). He is days away from getting his papers when he meets a younger woman (Iris) who appears very interested in his companionship. Coincidentally, his actions have a reaction and things are not going well for Alejandro. His cheating karma hits back quickly and years of effort applied to becoming a citizen are in jeopardy.
