"In Retrospect" is a musical comedy web series featuring Dennis and Rita, a couple in marriage counseling, rediscovering themselves in an effort to save their crumbling marriage. They attempt this by re-imagining the way they first met, transporting them to a different musical scenario each episode. Over the course of their nine-week therapy sessions, they must make discoveries about themselves, their past, and their desires, as they look toward their potential future. Each episode begins with Dennis (Frank Leone) and Rita (Jacqueline Keeley) within their therapy session with Dr. Fillasho (Shannon Krowicki), who sees an in to their relationship when she gets them to agree on one thing: they wish they could change the way they met. This then springboards them into a dream sequence musical number, as they envision themselves meeting for the first time in a different scenario, each episode. A seductive tango, a masquerade waltz, a throwback to the swing era, a catchy club beat; all situations we see our characters a part of. Through Dennis and Rita's story of rekindling love, they also impart on a journey of self discovery and learn the importance of being true to themselves. Dennis and Rita find that, in retrospect, things often seem clearer when one takes a look back into the past to make sense of the present.
