A passionate medical student battles societal norms, rivalries, and forbidden love in a tumultuous 1960s Chile.
Martín Hidalgo, a medical student raised by his religious mother and who never knew his father, is the leader of the students of a Chilean university in the middle of the 1960s, which leads him to harsh confrontations with the rector Maximiliano Sierralta. His strongest rival is Andrés, a law student and son of Maximiliano, with whom he will engage in a tough fight to win the presidency of the student federation and the love of Magdalena, a student from literature from a wealthy family.
