After her father dies unexpectedly, Annie lands a job at a funeral home in an attempt to gain closure. The shambolic small business, run by her dysfunctional boss Sal, opens Annie's eyes to the bizarre world of funerals. Written and starring Annie Louey, a Chinese-Australian comedian, the series de-stigmatises grief and death through different cultural lenses. Annie reflects on her own Chinese background and traditions as she comes face to face with a bogan funeral, and connects to a grieving Chinese widow.
