Nick Helm, a lover of food, eats his way through Britain and Europe to explore the world of food and what it means to him. However, his girlfriend leaves him at the start of the series, forcing him to come to terms with his new single status as he makes new acquaintances and meets old friends. With destinations including Soho, Leeds, Berlin, Paris, Glasgow, Essex and Brighton Nick travels from home cooks and cafes, to restaurants, hidden bars, street eats and food trucks, doing his best to avoid eggs the entire time.
