Houston's inner loop is the backdrop of this multi-layered thriller about a man who falls in love with a mysterious woman, a detective who is obsessed with a rash of ritualistic murders that are eerily reminiscent of a local legend that involved a coven of witches from the 1920's in the Houston neighborhood of Montrose and a down and out filmmaker who may be the next prey of a serial killer.
