Just when he thinks he's going to move to São Paulo to get near his lover, the bank where he works decides he must stay in Rio. She writes a successful book, but can't fulfill her most important expectation: get married. They manage to meet in Bahia, during the Carnival, after her brief visit to Rio, where they go to the legendary Mangueira Samba School, one of the most traditional in Rio.
