Os Gigantes

Journalist Paloma returns to Pilar and finds her twin brother in deep coma at the hospital, surviving artificially. Out of compassion, she turns off one of the devices and he dies. And has to confront her sister-in-law Veridiana at court, trying to fend off the accusation of euthanasia. In the meantime, she also meets two ex-boyfriends of her childhood: farmer Fernando Lucas, who was having trouble with his own marriage to Vânia, and doctor Chico Rubião, who also had broken his engagement to Helena.
