Determined to save his ailing theater company, Varthur McArthur comes up with a new plan: immersive murder mystery dinner theater. He gathers together his troupe to test his latest script. Only he's not the only one with murder on the brain.
Justine Case is a meter maid, but when no one else on the police force can respond to the 911 call, she's today's detective. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds, but her suspects are far from an easy crowd.
Detective Case questions the victim's beleaguered assistant/stage manager, revealing some key information about the murder. She is then plunged into the deep end of "Circus Steamboat Murder" when a performer can't separate the real murder from Varthur's play.
