Therese was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). The doctor's certificate said that the disease was incurable, but she experienced a miracle when Jesus healed her. Therese came to Sweden from Syria where she grew up in a religious home. In Sweden she encountered the love of Jesus and when she became ill with MS she experienced God's healing power.
The pornography kept Christian in an iron grip. During the day he was a nice and caring young man, but when the darkness came, he was hanging out for porn abuse. The hopelessness was totally destroying his life. With great honesty and openness, Christian Edlund talks about what no one wants to talk about and about his trip to freedom. Today he helps others start over in life.
Jessica grew up in traditional churches in Egypt and was torn between different images of God. When she became seriously ill, she believed it was a punishment from God. But one night, Jesus stood at her bedside... When Jessica was 13, she moved to Sweden with her family. God's love had always been abstract to her, but when she heard that Jesus knows her by name and loves her personally, it had major consequences.
Ahmed from Somalia had felt bound his whole life. When he ended up in prison, he was freed. His parents were Quran teachers and there were great expectations of him from both the mosque and the community. He came to Sweden at the age of twelve and his entire upbringing was shaped by Islam. When his girlfriend Marita became pregnant, she also felt a longing for God and took back her faith in Jesus. She asked Ahmed to move out because she didn't want to live with him anymore. When he refused, he was allowed to sleep on the couch and she began to pray for him.
Sebastian believed in a higher power, but was sure that Christians were screwed and that Pentecostals were the worst. When he nevertheless began to accompany his wife to the Pentecostal church, he saw Jesus in a vision. Even as a young man, Sebastian became convinced that there must be a Creator, and he sought the meaning of life in, among other things, Rastafarianism. But then he met his future wife who had a faith in Jesus. He went to the church to protect her from the influence there, but the Holy Spirit came upon him and he had a powerful encounter with Jesus.
