Matt and Shelby, a couple from Los Angeles, leave the city and move into a mysterious house in North Carolina, where strange things begin to occur. Matt and Shelby begin experiencing supernatural events.
Matt's sister, Lee, brings her young daughter Flora to visit the house. While the Millers discover some of their house's history, Lee falls into old habits and her daughter, Flora, makes a new friend.
The search for Flora continues as the situation grows more and more dire. The Millers talk to a paranormal expert to help them with their problem. The search for Flora leads to disturbing secrets in the woods.
Cricket learns the source of the settlers' power. Shelby and Matt are saved from someone who could help them find Flora. More is learned about the colonist and the Witch.
