Retired friends - Anna Sokolovskaya, a former administration employee, and Ulyana Lyutaya, former director of the best school in Gubernsk, are walking around the territory of a local sports club. They pay attention to the strange behavior of one of the clients, surfer Ksyusha. On the same day, the girl swims away with coach Rustam to a distant base and disappears.
The friends decide to conduct their own investigation and find out where Ksyusha disappeared to. Anna and Ulyana find important evidence, but the police do not take their arguments seriously. Soon they discover the body of Rustam, Ksyusha's coach. The young man hanged himself and left a suicide note. But the heroines are sure that another person wrote the note, which means Rustam was killed.
Anna and Ulyana undertake to help teacher Marina, a mother with three children, who is being kicked out of her home. The Kolos agricultural company buys an abandoned dispensary next to its site and demands that the land be vacated. Allegedly, the plot was obtained illegally by her grandfather. Anna and Ulyana are sure that something is unclean here.
Marina begins to receive threats. She is already ready to give up the plot, but Anna and Ulyana are not used to giving up. Soon tragedy strikes. Marina is hit by a jeep near her house and is in a coma. Detective friends will have to delve into the past to uncover the secrets of Marina's house.
