Isabela and her father arrive in the city, where they are reunited with Rafael and David, who have been separated for some time. On Fernanda's wedding day, Santiago plans a surprise for her. In order to force Santiago to sign and so allow Octavio to sell his holdings, Octavio arrives at Santiago's house with the assistance of Carmelo; however, things quickly spiral out of control, and Octavio shoots Santiago in the head, killing him.
