Six new farmers, five male and one female, travel to the Hunter Valley, where they each meet eight potential partners in their search for love, romance and finding the one that they want.
The six farmers and their five chosen partners travel to Sydney to attend a group date that reflects their farmer's personality. At the end of the day, each farmer chooses three of their dates to join them on the farm.
The six farmers and their three favourites arrive at the farm for a ten day stay and get down to business in no time. As the favourites are put to work, some find that the reality of farm life proves to be too difficult a transition.
Three days into the farm stays, the favourites make some last-minute plays for their farmers' hearts as the farmers struggle to make decisions about which one of their favourites they will send home.
