I misteri di Laura - 1 ª Season

Laura Moretti is a police inspector who is as brilliant as she is in trouble. She has just separated from her husband Jacopo, a police officer at the same police station, after he cheated on her and she is struggling to reconcile her demanding job with being the mother of three children, including two mischievous 8-year-old twins. Laura will have to solve the mystery of a man killed in a closed room.

Laura (Carlotta Natoli) and Matteo (Daniele Pecci), who have become a steady couple at work, are called to investigate a case of poisoning: a famous chef died after drinking a glass of almond milk. In the meantime, Lidia (Eleonora Sergio), the woman with whom Iacopo (Gianmarco Tognazzi) betrayed Laura, tries to get closer to him, who instead wants to win back his wife, while Matteo pretends to be engaged to Laura to escape from an ex who is a bit too intrusive. Allegra, Laura's young daughter, meanwhile, prepares a surprise to try to reunite her father and mother.

Laura is excited that the full moon party, a traditional family celebration, is coming, but none of her children seem happy about it. Laura suspects that the children are sad because, for the first time, the party will be without Iacopo. Meanwhile, a few days before the start of the national tennis tournament organized in Turin, a killer kills the bodyguard of a tennis player.

A famous chess player is stabbed to death during a clandestine meeting with his lover. In a panic, the woman runs away, inevitably causing suspicion to fall on her. Despite the serious evidence against her, however, Laura is convinced of the woman's innocence.
