In the series premiere, hostess Tia Mowry joins her husband, Cory Hardrict, in the kitchen for date night, during which they make mac and cheese, lamb lollipops, broccoli sauté, and cream cheese frosting.
Tia prepares favorite recipes for her friends. Included: homemade chicken stock; collard greens; Cornish hens; and a raspberry cosmopolitan.
Tia makes a healthy and flavorful Sunday brunch for her friends. Included: fresh fruit smoothies; banana pancakes with blistered berries; quinoa with shitakes, crispy kale chips and fried egg; mango Bellinis.
On the menu: a homemade salad dressing for a mix of kale, pomegranate and tangerine; a slow cooker lentil-and-beef stew prepared with Tia's own spice mix; and almond-butter brownies.
NBA player Metta World Peace (aka Metta World Peace) joins Tia for a meal, that includes spaghetti and turkey-spinach meatballs with two sauces (homemade marinara and grown-up tomato red wine sauce). Also: fluffy marshmallow and chocolate-filled crispy rice treats are served.
