In the wilderness of Graddisfjellet far north in Norway aging Swedish artists Kajsa Zetterquist and Per Adde have settled on an ancient farm.
Anne from Glasgow, settled with her Norwegian husband Per on an isolated mountain farm high above the Hardanger fjord. After raising their five children Anne and Per have now retired and live in isolation for most of the year. However, every summer, their children return and the farmhouse is filled with music, parties and fun.
Author, farmer and musician Ivar Orvedal lives in the little village of Måren together with four other villagers. Their future hangs in the balance as they lost the battle to stop the local river being dammed for hydro power. .
