Ignatiy Vishnevetsky and Christy Lemire review new films opening this week. In this episode, Christy and Ignatiy review 'No Strings Attached', 'The Company Men', 'The Way Back', 'The Dilemma' and 'The Green Hornet' . Ignatiy and Christy split on all five films. Ignatiy gave all five films a thumbs up, and Christy Lemire gave all five films a thumbs down. Kim Morgan discusses the 1949 classic, 'The Third Man'. In the 'Roger's Office' segment, director Werner Herzog provides the voice of Roger Ebert as he reviews the film, 'My Dog Tulip'.
Christy and Ignatiy review "The Mechanic," "Another Year," "Barney's Version," "Biutiful," and "The Illusionist"; Roger reviews "The Rite"; Kartina Richardson comments on "Black Swan."
Christy and Ignatiy review "The Other Woman," "Cold Weather," "Louder Than a Bomb," and "The Housemaid"; Roger reviews "Sanctum" and the newly reissued "The Leopard"; and Jeff Greenfield discusses unrealistic speeches in political movies.
The critics select the movies that made them critics. Christy selects "The Breakfast Club," "Nights of Cabiria," "Magnolia," "No Country for Old Men," and "The Wizard of Oz." Ignatiy selects "True Heart Susie," "Foolish Wives," "Play Time," "Shoah," and "Histoire(s) du cinéma." Clips from Roger's choice, "Citizen Kane," are accompanied by excerpts from his commentary for the DVD of the film.
