Gilberto Gil gathers his family on their country house to plan an European tour that will have all of them together on stage for the first time. The anticipation for the concerts is huge and they only have two weeks to settle on the details of the various performances. Each Gil must choose one song to enter the set-list.
It is Gilberto Gil's birthday, and the family organizes a big celebration. But this is not just Gil's day: his grandson João shares the same birthday. The festivities begin with a lot of excitement as they gather once again to carry on with the set-list selection. Preta starts by talking about self-esteem and how her husband had a key role in changing the way she sees her own beauty. Maria chooses a song that makes the whole family emotional after remembering Gil's son, Pedro Gil, who died in a car accident. João, one of the birthday boys, makes his choice and remarks that it reflects Brazil's political and economic situation.
