The Newhaven crew are called to a trawler in trouble. In Cornwall, RNLI lifeguards battle to save a mother and son. The Swanage crew attend to a man who has fallen from a local landmark. On the Thames, crews try to rescue a Minke Whale.
Lifeboat volunteers pluck a fallen climber out of the sea in Wales. In Scotland they rescue a 170-ton fishing boat that's perilously close to the rocks in gale force winds. At Minhead, 3 kayakers are swept out to sea as darkness falls.
In London, the RNLI rush to rescue a man in the River Thames. In Fleetwood, a desperate 999 call alerts the crew to a man in danger of being swept out to sea. In Selsey, the respond to a local diver suffering from 'the bends'.
