1920. Teresa arrives in Seville fleeing the mysterious murder of the Spanish ambassador in Lisbon and searching for Roberta Luna, a student at the city's ladies' academy. Teresa Teresa gets a teacher position in the Academy.
Manuela, the academy's principal places her position as principal at the disposal of a referendum. Louisa a teacher with a problematic son is her opponent. Roberta and Flavia, 2 students have romances with 2 Penalta boys.
Angela, who organizes the Autumn Dance, goes to a studio to get a family portrait and meets attractive Paula. Teresa meets an old acquaintance from Lisbon. Flavia and Tomas live their love. Roberta does not want to go to the Dance.
Luisa gives a class on sex to the students, but it is a failure. The 2nd class is given by Teresa. Manuela's husband wants to have a baby, while she doesn't. Roberta confronts Rafita. She doesn't want to see him again.
An incriminating photo of Roberta at the party of Rafita causes a fight between the pupils. Teresa advises her parents of Roberta's problem, who come and take her away. Louisa decides to resign from the Academia but returns
