Police arrest teenager Franck Courtet for graffiti. His DNA leads to the reopening of the Duroc twins unsolved murder 16 years ago, which was investigated by Judge Koenig and now Superintendent Rameau, Justine's father and husband.
While at a bar in a date, Vanessa overhears the confesion of a woman afraid of her husband, who boasts about killing his first wife and covering it up as an accident. Vanessa identifies the couple and asks Justine to investigate the case.
