18 Months after the Battle of Field Flower, The Currentzis siblings and their friends have slowly recovered but some still find the events too painful of a burden for them. The Amadeus Legion still continues on with their duties in keeping peace even after their discoveries on the Mysterious Lux Alliance and their inactivity afterwards. The 13 year old boy, Jacques Rain had prior knowledge however as he soon learns of others who are now after the same questions as himself.
As Tobias stays alone in his state of confusion, his siblings and friends take a trip to the Luxurious Island of Festen where they bond and have moments of self reflection. After the Amadeus Legion rescues the body of an unknown man, much is now said on what actions to do in keeping the person safe from harm. Jacques Rain, after meeting the wise Wendy Flora, now has to come to a decision in finally figuring out the secrets of the immortal child, Stepney.
Jacques, Wendy and the team set out to a completely changed North Pole as they will meet new presences that will guide them to their answers. After learning the identity of the old man, family members will finally reunite after many years of having the thoughts of isolation. As the days move on, the central players of an unknown game still find themselves not knowing what moves they'll have to play.
Salvador Pasolini is now recovered as he now lives happily with his niece and nephew even if Tobias still resides away alone. But how Pasolini fits into the larger picture is something that is still a mystery to the Amadeus Legion. Jacques Rain, on the other hand, might discover the answer to a mystery as he begins to meet face to face with the great Stepney.
Captured by Tritus and the Figaros, Wendy now faces interrogation to see what Stepney had said to Jacques in the void. The Dolorosa team set off to the Figaro base to rescue Wendy and confront Tritus himself. Meanwhile Tobias is now confronted with his own struggles by the history of his family and those who still love him.
The series takes place 100 years after the Earth's population and environments are in near complete destruction by what is known as the 'Great Transition'. In this present world, the only resources that can be found are through the mythology and secrets of the Masters of Classical Music from centuries ago and have been useful in salvaging the world to a more stable state. The story follows a large ensemble of characters of vastly different backgrounds. From orphaned children, to young soldiers, religious extremists, these multiple weaving stories all take center stage to present a story of youth, adventure, and what it means to have ideals as a person.
