Soon Christmas in Nudådalen, a village so small that it can't even be found on the map. Here live Kaspar and his grandfather, the country trader Atom-Ragnar, the supportive Åhman who thinks he owns the whole village, and many more.
An avalanche has swept across Nudådalen and now the small village is almost impossible to find. Kaspar and Lisa suspect that it is their coughing attack that started the avalanche.
The avalanche has caused problems for the residents of Nudådalen. Atom-Ragnar for example, can no longer get supplies to his shop. So to fill his empty fish counter, he announces a fishing competition in the village.
Grandpa and Atom-Ragnar have lied about their catches to win the fish competition. And Grandpa wants to tell the truth but can't. But is it far to stand in front of the village and tell them about the cheating. So what is he going to do?
This day started as a normal winter day in Nudådalen. Atom-Ragnar opened his shop, and grandpa and Kaspar ate their breakfast in the kitchen. As usual. If Kaspar had decided, it would always be this calm and nice.
8-year-old Kaspar lives in a small house in Nudådalen with his grandfather.
