Adi was kicked out by his girlfriend Mohini from her house where he was staying in a live-in relationship with her. Having no place to stay and running out of money, he got help from a local uncle who gave him a place to stay which was cheap and affordable by Adi. He started staying in the apartment unknowingly what is waiting for him to confront.
Adi gets to know he is staying in the apartment with the spirit of Parna. He is terrified by the fact but gradually he learns Parna is a harmless and very helpful spirit. Adi was getting confused by the behavior of Parna and she was invading the privacy of Adi which he started disliking.
Getting furious with what happened the previous night, Adi decided to get rid of Parna and contacts Joy (Putki Vai) who is also an addict if he can manage any priest to spell her out. But Joy comes to visit Adi with Adi's Mother who came to give a surprise. Parna somehow manages the situation and impresses Adi's mother.
Parna's Friend comes to Adi's apartment to celebrate death day where Adi learns his friend is also a spirit. Adi gets to know about the reason behind Parna's death. He also learns Parna is very sad for her deeds which she committed unknowingly and faced fatal consequences. Adi decides to mend things to help Parna get back her smile.
Gradually the friendship of Adi and Parna evolves into love in their journey to Parna's hometown Halisahar where Adi learns the he also lost his mother. In the meantime, Adi gets worried about his best buddy Joy who goes missing. Eventually he learns Joy is also no more and died due to drug overdose and Adi celebrated his birthday with the spirit of Parna, His Mother, Parna's Friend and Joy.
This is a story of an urban unemployed boy (Adi) living in an abandoned flat, where Adi meets a welcoming ghost Parna, which turned out to be a horror-romantic-comedy.
