Producer Renato Milva announces he is opening auditions to create a new musical theater group. Several young artists sing up in hopes of fulfilling their lifelong dream: being recognized and being able to make a living out of their passion
The 15 days of audition workshops begin. Marita is suspicious of Antonia and Mauricio.
The auditions take place amidst stage fright and incorrect evaluations. Jorge gets a call from the hospital which breaks his concentration, but this brings him closer to Sandra. Alicia and Leandro are in love. Reginaldo is scared to be on stage, and his mother sings with him. Later, Nora feels bad and Renato helps her.
Relationships within the group are becoming intense. Leandro walks Alicia home and they kiss. Emídio is of Sandra and sets a trap for her. Fernando and Sissy get closer and he tries to explain the situation with Mauricio. Renato tries to apologize to Antonia, but he ends up being seduced by Nora.
A new stage of elimination of audition candidates is coming up and the competition becomes more intense. Nora pretends to be friends with Marita to carry her plans forward, and she also badmouths Sandra, who discovers it. Emídio runs into Jorge and recognizes him. Later, Jorge confesses his love for Sandra to his mother and aunt, but they do not approve.
A new musical company in Brazil is looking for young people who can sing and perform and they apply to the auditions from all over the country in search for success. This is a story of hardships and friendships on the road to fame.
