The wife, mistress and two children of the oligarch Viktor Verkholantsev are left without a livelihood after his death. They find out that Viktor left a lot of money to his daughter from his first marriage, Alyona Neverova, and flied to her. Alyona lives modestly and serves in a colony-settlement. She takes on the upbringing of relatives who suddenly appeared when, by coincidence, they turned out to be prisoners of the colony.
Alyona wants to instill courage in Kostya and asks Adil to help her play a guy. Marina, wanting to have a separate place to live in the colony, locks herself in a punishment cell. Alyona entrusts Zhanna and Lida with joint work, which leads to a conflict.
Kostya, Lida and Marina are plotting an escape. Alyona finds out about this and uses the information for educational purposes. And Zhanna decides to "roll up" to the head of the colony, but comes into conflict with his mistress.
The guard renders timid signs of attention to Marina, but she takes it with hostility. Alyona wants to eradicate the habit of using men in Zhanna. And Lida drinks chifir and experiences it's effect.
Alyona invites the Verkholantsevs to forgive all the grievances they hold against their late father, just as she herself did. But when Neverova is called to set an example, it turns out that she, too, is not so simple. Kostya solves the problems that have arisen due to the conflict with Adil.
After the funeral of the head of the family, the oligarch's family wanted to start dividing the inheritance. However, all the money ended up abroad in password-protected accounts. The relatives of the deceased rich man thought that he could leave most of the inheritance to an illegitimate daughter who lives in the outback. It turned out that she works as the deputy head of the colony. In an attempt to "knock out" the inheritance, they set fire to the house of their relative. But in the end, they received a prison term in the colony, where their father's illegitimate daughter works.
