Actor Dawna Lee Heising is honored to be inducted into the WorldFilmGeek Hall of Fame, along with film legends Diane Franklin and Mark Patton. Noted film reviewer and interviewer WorldFilmGeek interviewed Dawna on February 22, 2023. At the end of the interview, he announced that Heising would be the third inductee into his prestigious WorldFilmGeek Hall of Fame. "I am very excited and thankful to be inducted into the WorldFilmGeek Hall of Fame. Albert and I have been friends since he reviewed "Finding Purpose: The Road to Redemption" in 2020, and he is an incredible film reviewer and interviewer," said Heising. She adds, "It is such an honor privilege to be entering the WorldFilmGeek Hall of Fame after established stars and legends Diane Franklin and Mark Patton. This amazing award will inspire me to do everything I can to live up to this fantastic honor!". Heising is represented by Diana Carter of Arykas and Ybots PR/MGMT, Joseph Williamson, Tony DeGuide of Windy City Films, Doug Lito, and Rosalind Rosa of Jager Campbell Talent Management.
Craig Railsback's horror/comedy short "Down and Out in Vampire Hills" is honored to be an Official Selection of the prestigious 2023 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Events photographer Dan Kennedy and Dawna Lee Heising attended the screening at L.A. Regal Live on March 1, 2023 at 5:00 PM PST. Dawna plays the Vampire Queen Penelope in "Down and Out in Vampire Hills".
The Martial Arts History Museum and Mike Matsuda hosted a special "Honor Day" for Grand Master Rick St. Clair on Saturday, February 25, 2023. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where people come from all over as the Martial Arts History Museum shared his biography, screened a video of his life and career, and allowed friends, students, and fellow martial artists to toast him a bit. Grand Master Rick St. Clair also reflected on his illustrious career and gave thanks to his many friends and colleagues for attending. Grand Master Rick St. Clair and Grand Master and legendary actress Cynthia Rothrock are collaborating on a new event in San Francisco in September 2023.
