Dr. Misty Richards talks about the late Dr. Stephanie Van Dyke, the co-founder of the Engeye Health Clinic in Ddegeya Village, Uganda. In 2000, as a volunteer in Katooke Village in rural Uganda, Stephanie witnessed the urgent need for basic medical care, which inspired her to pursue a career in medicine with the ultimate goal of building and running self-sustaining clinics in Uganda. While still a medical student at AMC, Stephanie contributed an inheritance of $35,000 from her grandmother and teamed with John Kalule, a Ugandan of Ddegeya Village, to establish the Engeye Health Clinic in 2006. In 2007, Stephanie received a Points of Light award: Stephanie Van Dyke - Points of Light Today the Engeye Health Clinic continues to serve more than 13,000 patients a year.
Director Craig Railsback and Renah Wolzinger shot a scene for Christopher Michale Dailey's "Cadillac Respect" with legendary actor Aki Aleong and Dawna Lee Heising. Aki played mobster Sonny Fei and Dawna played reporter Christi Catera. The scene was shot at Aki's Shadow Ranch in Sylmar, CA.
Dustin Ferguson filmed a scene from "Tales of the Campfire 3" called "The Prisoner" in Huntington Beach. Dawna Lee Heising plays a woman with agoraphobia and Jarad Allen plays a killer. Dr. Renah Wolzinger is a producer of Eye on Entertainment and helped with production.
The Roger Neal and Marianne Lai Oscar Viewing Dinner and 2020 Icon Awards were held at the Hollywood Museum on February 9, 2020. Robert Amico, Justin Shenkarow, Manu Intiraymi and Eye on Entertainment host Dawna Lee Heising are cast in writer and producer Matthew Russell Johnson's upcoming comedy "Pizza Shop Madness". The film will be directed by Robert Amico.
"Dark Classics", directed by Craig Railsback and edited by Dr. Renah Wolzinger, was selected as a 2020 Official Selection of Edward Payson's An Anti-Hero Genre Film Festival. The Act 5 Scene 1 Lady Macbeth monologue was filmed for Brian Barsuglia's documentary "A Bard for All Ages: Shakespeare's Timeless Effect" and was also released as the short film "Dark Classics". The short film was screened at Flapper's Comedy Club in Burbank, California on February 23, 2020.
