Astrid Lartigues, co-founder of the Lartigues and Lorenzi law firm, asks her daughter Audrey to arrange mediation between young Rose's parents and grandparents. Astrid's partner Sofia Lorenzi deals with a couple in the process of divorcing. The cause of the dispute is who gets custodianship of Lady, their dog.

Astrid represents a divorced woman who is accused of harassing her ex-husband's new girlfriend and risks losing custody of her teenaged daughter. Meanwhile, Audrey deals with a couple of adult-film stars who have changed their minds about their prenuptial agreement at the last minute.

A restaurant owner with health issues wants to formally adopt the teenager he raised, but the biological father has other ideas. Audrey, still uncomfortable with the idea of having a third child, deals with an error in the civil status of a young couple that could put their upcoming wedding in jeopardy.
