A woman's body is found in the vineyards, her eyes hideously mutilated. The victim had links to a local convent. But what sort of links? Could nuns really be involved in such a sordid affair?
A woman is found seriously injured in a car boot. Soler and Marchal quickly discover that this was an attempted murder. The case becomes rather more delicate when the victim's young daughter disappears. At the same time, they have the added problem of their son Thomas, who's run away.
A woman's body is found in a salt lake. The prime suspect is her husband but he seems to have a solid alibi, so Soler and her team work hard searching for the culprit.

They discover that five years ago, when his business burned down in Royan, the victim was badly burned and his secretary died, after which he changed his identity.
A young woman is found dead. Though it appears to be a crime of passion, the manager of a neighboring gîte confesses to the murder. However, the motive and the proof just don't match up.
