A competitor winery named Scarlet hills is being built just next to Markova cellar. This is not a problem for Filip, who is shocked that will become a father again. Elina has found about Marta's pregnancy and breaks the relationship with Filip, but is staying to work at the winery. Nasko gets to know the owner of Scarlet hills- Daria Tomova. She makes him an irresistible job offer. Zoya is surprised that Marta supports her husband and is willing to stay with him in Bulgaria. On the political side Andrey Bonchev is continuing his games. There will be municipal elections and to his surprise Antonia, his former mistress, will be one of the candidates.
The new winery Scarlet hills quickly gets its own sign on the road. There are problems in the old winery Markova cellar. They take an order for wedding wine, but Elina the oenologist has lost her sense of smell, and her colleague Nasko leaves so he can work for the competitors. Filip meets Daria Tomova and warns her to be careful about the market moral. She has no restraints. Tomova will be releasing a new wine brand only for women, and is looking for a suitable name. She meets with Andrey Bonchev and following his advice makes an offer to Zoya Young, Filip's mother to rent their business. In Markova cellar the need investments, so Filip does not refuse the offer. Elina still does not know about the deal, and the pregnant Marta once more tries to get closer to her, but to no avail. While Marta is visiting the doctor for a regular gynecological examination, accompanied by Zoya, Elina is bitten by a snake in the vineyard. Filip drives her to the hospital. Andrei Bonchev has a problem with municipall elections- Antonia Chanova is one of the candidates in the party list, and is not willing to give up. Sister Pelagia from the monastery is bullied by suspicious people , that want to take her land in Kamenna niva area. According to Bonchev the terrain is outside of the municipal borders. Bonchev's wife - Tsveta, finds a disturbing note in his wallet.
Filip misses Marta's first gynecological examination, because he is with Elina at the emergency room. A mobster attacks sister Pelagia, but she manages to escape. The situation with the land of the abbess becomes interesting to Andrey. Marta tries to get closer with Elina, but with no success. The tension between the two continues to rise. Nasko gets into an awkward situation, when he learns that the wine expert Maurizio Sensi will be in charge at the Scarlet hills winery. Embittered, Nasko leaves before even starting to work for Daria Tomova. Zoya sees the relationship between Elina and Filip, and decides to give Elina's share to Marta. Elina leaves Markova cellar.
Tsveta and sister Pelagia travel to Rome, where Tsveta has a romance, and the abbess meets her son, who she has given up from. He had been addicted to drugs, and had lived on the street and later in a commune. In the present he is clean, grown up and expecting a baby. After Elina and Nasko's leave, Markova cellar is desperate to find a new oenologist. The Scarlet hills winery is visited by the long awaited wine expert Maurizio Sensi, who is disappointed by the cellar equipment. Andrey Bonchev sabotages Harizanov's plans to get Antonia Chanova into politics, but loses his own position because of his disagreement with the implementation of the recycling company Red Construction on the territory of the municipality. The town council voting shows that all the members except 3 are corrupted. Filip decides to take advantage of the Italian Sensi to gather grape pickers. Andrey also shows up to the event and drops the bomb about the forthcoming of a biohazard trash disposal installation in the region. It is nonsense to sell bio products with a close biohazard dump yard. Maurizio Sensi leaves and Daria Tomova can no longer stop him. She offers Elina to star work in Scarlet hills. With the idea of Irina Nasko returns to Markova cellar . Filip agrees to work with him again, but with a temporary contract.
Filip decides to pay his debt to Harizanov. Instead of taking the money, Boris Harizanov wants Filip to appoint his son Plamen to work at the winery. The grape picking season is about to start and Nasko and Filip from Markova cellar must coordinate with Daria Tomova and Elina from Scralet hills. There are overlapping interests. The situation is resolved with both sides getting to terms, with the secret help of Elina. Filip is guessing that Elina has made the deal. His spouse Marta tries to participate as a partner in the cellar management, but she is not on the same level as the experts. Sister Pelagia and Tsveta are looking at photos from the trip to Rome. Tsveta shares about her walk with the Italian. Sister Pegaia tells her about the meeting with her son. She gives Tsveta something, which Tsveta must give to her son when the right time comes. Andrey Bonchev has decided to denounce Red Construction in front of the town councilors and to stop the procedure about the construction of the trash installation. Even sister Pelagia, which is a former lawyer, does not succeed to help him. Filip confesses to Elina, that he misses her and her sense of smell miraculously comes back the very same moment.
