Ladies of the Law - 5 ª Season

The women of law investigate the death of Magali, a young women killed in her home. Mary Balaguère questions the victim's employers, one being a friend of prosecutor Elisabeth Brochène. On her side the prosecutor investigates the personal life of the victim and quickly discovers that the victim was lesbian. The victim's ex-girlfriend, Chloé, is suspected because she had trouble accepting the end of their romance. The investigation reveals that a third woman could be involved.

A divorced man is found dead at home. Investigating in his life, Marie Balaguère and Elisabeth Brochène try the find out who could have done it. Ex-wife Georgia, daughter Sophie or an unidentified lover.

Police lieutenant Marie Balaguère arrives on a crime scene where she founds a man's dead body and, hidden in a closet, the victim's wife, Mélanie, in a state of shock. The investigation reveals that the wife, a school teacher, has a forbidden love affair with one of her student. The student becomes the prime suspect.

A restaurant co-owner and head chef is abducted. Police lieutenant Marie Balaguère and prosecutor Elisabeth Brochène have to act quickly in order to find the man. By phone, a ransom is demanded. Later in the investigation, Marie Balaguère finds the body of the abducted man. It's obvious that the man was dead from the first day and that the ransom was meant to put the police on a wrong track.
