July 1997. A young couple sees their very young children suddenly taken away from them after the most horrifying of accusations: to have given their daughter over to a network of pedophiles.
That which initially seemed to be a sad story of pedophilia, acquires unexpected dimensions: a satanic sect is operating in the area's cemeteries, but the accused declare their innocence.
The trials begin: the testimonies of the children and the medico-legal reports leave no doubt. The accused receive hefty sentences and some do not survive the scandal.
Twenty years later, a journalist's investigation reopens the case. A new and alarming truth divides public opinion, reviving painful memories and giving new hope.
A new investigation erupts in the national media while new revelations could lead to a revision of the sentences. Is the "poison" still in circulation?
At the end of the 1990s, a small community is disrupted by a number of cases of pedophilia and satanism. Sixteen children are removed from their families. Twenty years later an investigation sheds doubt on the entire case.
