1420. Three months after Queen Elizabeth's death. King Wladyslaw Jagiello with his brother Duke Svidrigaila and young nobleman Jan Hincza on the way to Vilnius meet three Halshany princesses: Wasylisa, Mary and Sonka
Vytautas wants to marry King Jagiello to Princess Sonka, and Sigismund of Luxembourg to the widow of Wenceslas IV. Jagiello is most favorable to Sonka, but his brother Svidrigaila also desires her.
1420/1421. The King sends Zawisza the Black to Hungary as a messenger and spy. He negotiates a marriage with Ofka not to offend King Sigismund but really wants to marry young princess Sonka, who rejects Svidrigaila's advances.
