Agnieszka is investigating a girl's death in Opole: all evidence points to ritual murder. At the time, Piotr was teaching religious studies there.
Agnieszka comes across a similar murder from months prior. Meanwhile, Ewa becomes an easy target for Piotr, who still watches her every move.
Exhausted Agnieszka has a theory about the perpetrator of the crimes and is convinced that he has already begun his search for the next victim.
Ewa is found dying in the forest. The perpetrator in a panic left the body and did not finish the ritual. Will Agnieszka be able to save the girl?
