Simon is running from his past and going where his faith takes him. He enters a border town and befriends father & son ranch owners. Accepting a job with them, he becomes involved in a struggle between a young Mexican girl and her pursuers.
Simon is given a job in an oil field. His new boss, Joseph, has a temper that threatens to destroy his business and his marriage. Memories of Simon's past come to the forefront as he tries to help Joseph.
After hitting a deer with his motorcycle, Simon is given a place to stay by a woman whose game ranch is being plagued by poachers. Simon agrees to help her catch them. He soon discovers it's two poor brothers just trying to feed their families.
When Simon's bike is stolen in a small town, the only way to get it back is in a poker game with the corrupt town leaders. But Simon isn't the only one being taken advantage of, and his action might just help an underdog rise to the top.
Simon runs out of money on the Texas coast and gets a job with a widowed boat captain, taking clients out into the gulf to catch fish. But when a bickering couple charters the boat for the day, it will take a life-threatening situation to convince them their marriage might be worth saving.
Combat vet Simon motorcycles across the country, working odd jobs, helping those God puts in his path, and trying to atone for past sins in a biker club.
