A high-end real estate agent, Linda's husband, has disappeared and left behind millions in debt for Linda to pay. Debt collection takes her last remaining funds, and Linda tries to keep her life together at any cost. She borrows money from her long-forgotten childhood friend, Marke, and gets entangled in shady business dealings.
Crime follows Linda to her workplace when Marke's boyfriend Spora's business partner Koistinen shows up at a property viewing. Linda has dinner with Koistinen's boss, Börje, after selling him an apartment. Linda finds the stash Koistinen was looking for and asks for help from her acquaintance Lauri, who has ended up on the sidelines, in starting a renovation company
Linda and Marke travel to Spain, where Marke discovers the real reason for the trip. Marke is promoted to CEO of Linda's renovation company, Queen of Homes. Meanwhile, back home, Koistinen tries to track down the missing stash. Linda funds her company with cash and assembles a rather unconventional but highly skilled renovation crew.
Börje is out of his place because of the missing Koistinen. Linda's nightmares deepen. The renovation team targets the parish house. Linda wants to expand the activities of Queen of Homes and, according to the zoning agency and the parish president, persuades the plan. Spora threatens to expose Linda.
The body of the missing Koistinen has been found. Linda does everything she can to get the project through at the zoning office and desperately tries to keep the parish president Birgitta out of the way. The name of Queen of Homes comes to Linda's workplace. Linda's nightmares are starting to come true.
A successful real estate agent wakes up one day to find out that her husband is gone, leaving her with millions in debt. In order to survive and maintain her lifestyle, Linda must become the queen of the criminal world.
