Episodes
The body of a girl is found in the Jackdaw Forest. What do the marks carved into her skin mean? Koray Larssen and Ulrike Bandow take on the case. Ulrike suspects that the crime leads to her own past.
Ulrike and Larssen don't have much time: a second girl is missing. They must find the child before she falls victim to the Rune Killer. Ulrike doesn't yet suspect that her brother Marc is getting more and more involved in the case.
After Danjana's thwarted abduction, Ulrike remembers having also encountered the monstrous wolf in her childhood. Hoping to learn more about the past, Ulrike goes to her mother in Hamburg.
Ulrike and Larssen feel that unknown forces are complicating their investigation. While they nevertheless find out more and more about the identity of the Rune Killer, Ingrid sets out alone in the forest to search for the culprit.
An old file brings new insights that confront Ulrike with her own guilt. Larssen's personal secret becomes his undoing and he is faced with a decision that would overturn the investigation.
When a girl's body is found, two investigators (Fahri Yardim and Henriette Confurius) join forces to solve the case. They come across a strange series of murders with connections to Germany's past.
