After the government has taken all the wizards away, Alex decides to reveal wizards to the world. The rest of the wizarding world doesn't exactly take well to it.
Alex quits her wizard training after she decides there will never be enough time to regain her status and compete for the title of family wizard. However, she is also shocked to learn that, as a mortal, she will no longer be able to date Mason.
Harper tries convincing Alex that life without magic isn't so bad, but the strain of taking responsibility for her actions instead of using magic causes a disagreement between the two best friends. After Jerry finds the family heirloom wizard robe in shambles, he tries to get to the bottom of how it was destroyed.
Dean comes back and wants to get back together with Alex. Mason gets jealous and eats him. Alex, Max, and Justin must go inside Mason's body to get him out.
When Alex and Justin accidentally use that magical spell on Max to turn into a little girl named "Maxine", they find a better spell that will change him back into a normal boy or he will be Maxine forever.
The Russo family may be an ordinary family with an average restaurant, but behind closed doors, all three children must compete to be the next family wizard.
