The fate of Jimmy and Thaison is still unknown on the track. The pressure of year 3 of the business is getting to the guys and a vintage ride just for fun becomes a necessity. With roasted coffee sales starting to grow, the need for bigger and better equipment becomes a priority for Steve and Thaison. A new build project seems to be on the horizon - have the guys learned anything from previous builds?
Things are moving quickly at the Rust is Gold Coffee and Garage - the roasted coffee side of the business has ramped significantly and the new roaster is more important than ever. Thaison tries to convince Steve that another charity project bike is just what the garage needs. The momentum and mood of the shop is broken when some scary news hits home and shifts the direction of the events for the month.
After the fire devastation in the last episode - Steve and Thaison find a way to help some of victims of the Calf Canyon fire and give back to the community. A new hire discovers she was an old student of Thaison's. Duke City Rocker and custom painter, Rocker Ron gets roped into the Royal Enfield charity build.
The Royal Enfield charity build's paint color becomes a point of contention between Thaison (Hollywood) and Steve (Fenix), with Rocker Ron caught in the middle. The guys head south to El Paso, Texas again for the Battle on the Concrete indoor flat track race. Thaison takes an unexpected detour to see a vintage Husqvarna dirt bike in hopes of getting a killer deal.
A longtime friend and employee of the shop is taking a major life step and the guys are sorry to see them go. Thaison's vintage Husqvarna project goes from bad to worse and help is brought in to chase down the issues. Rocker Ron stops in to the shop with a surprise and everyone's wondering what's in the box.
At the RUST IS GOLD COFFEE shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it's all about Coffee, Community and Motos. Co-owners and long-time friends, Thaison "Hollywood" Garcia and Steven "Fenix" Maes, face the reality of opening a motorcycle themed coffee shop in the middle of a global pandemic. With a new manager and a couple of new baristas, the kick-off Motorcycle Meetup event may have been more than the shop was prepared for.
