Co-owners and long-time friends, Thaison "Hollywood" Garcia and Steven "Fenix" Maes, face the reality of opening a motorcycle themed coffee shop in the middle of a global pandemic. The Rust is Gold Coffee shop experiences it's first growing pains with old and new employees. Vintage motorcycle builder and racer, Steve Brown (Kings of Speed Garage), proposes a custom build and giveaway to benefit Saranam of New Mexico, a charity that helps homeless families. The raffle bike event is bigger than expected and the winner of the custom built CB 350 from the Kings of Speed Garage is a surprise to everyone involved.
Steve and Thaison look to get some design help from barista Daniel and race season approaches.
The Rust is Gold Racing Team (Thaison, Steve and Jimmy) head to El Paso, Texas for some indoor concrete flat track racing. But the road to Texas gets bumpy and makes for a rocky start to the trip. Rust is Gold Coffee Shop manager, Shelbe, pulls the RIG staff together and shows she can run the show while the guys are out of town.
At the RUST IS GOLD COFFEE shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it's all about Coffee, Community and Motos.
