With Vandy's return and Ambrose aging backwards, what else can go wrong? Everything. Gardner and Bram search for answers in Paris. Vandy seeks the footlights of New York. And Nora...Nora is trapped in Vandy's former world. The police continue to search for Toula, Trisha, and Phred.
With an agent, a new play and social media buzz all keep propelling her dream, Vandy's return to Broadway continues to move forward. Back home Midge has created an uneasy alliance with Trisha. The two continue to search for clues as to the disappearance of Nora Stanhope. Gardner and Bram continue to pretend life is normal when it is clear it is not.
Nora's presence begins to take its toll on Bram. Back in New York Vandy's rise on Broadway continues but not without consequences. Her dreams are becoming nightmares. She is keenly aware that Gardner is learning more about magic, Nora is still a threat, and her childhood is impacting her reality. Vandy is being visited by herself - the child Vandy. This Vandy is seeking her own path, but to where?
Vandy's meteoric rise continues but her magic is weakening. Her dreams are becoming more frequent, and the goals of the Younge Vandy are becoming clearer. The police are renewing their efforts to find Nora. Bram and Gardner continue seeking answers to stop Vandy and keep their sanity.
Bram continues to face obstacles from Trisha, Toula, Midge and his neighbor. His young neighbor knows there is someone in that mirror. Who will believe her - her mother? The police? The police are facing increased pressure to locate Nora. With no solid clues, one detective starts to look at the possibility that magic is at play. In New York Vandy and Ambrose continue to balance Broadway and Vandy's dreams. Gardner's growing knowledge of magic including the spell books and other amulets adds to Vandy's distress.
Always Here is a 30-minute Dark Comedy. Set in the present-day southern California the series is a mix of the original horror soap opera, Dark Shadows, mixed with a touch of Soap and too much Mommy Dearest.
