After three months, Daniel learns his fate in a meeting with the new head of the company, Tasha returns from China unexpectedly; to celebrate his promotion, Benjamin attempts to get to know his new therapist. Juanita is off the grid as she entertains an old flame.
Daniel struggles with unemployment and bills; he is later left speechless when he makes an impromptu visit to Juanita's, Benjamin is left puzzled after an incident at Bernadette's, Tasha's secret is out the bag when she comes face to face with her father.
Tori and Tasha confront each other in an explosive way, leading her to reunite with Daniel. Daniel prepares for his reunion and is shocked when a blast from the past shows up at his door, Benjamin is instructed to terminate an employee due to age discrimination.
Tasha reaches out to Nico and is surprised when she learns what he's been up to, Daniel gives Giovanni some clarity about the other night, Benjamin and Patricia disagree about Bernadette when another incident occurs.
Benjamin stresses about work and his mother which leads to an important conversation with Daniel, and later, he and Dr. Lopez take their relationship to another level, Tasha's great news about a job opportunity is quickly overshadowed by family drama, Giovanni shows up with an opportunity Daniel can't refuse, causing him to miss his date with Guy.
