A post-Black Love futurist story where Black women and men interact only on a transactional, emotionally non-existent basis in a village society. This apocalyptic world - where even free lovemaking is outlawed - is a culmination of the extremist deterioration of the Black family as a result of men and women losing complete trust in their predestined gendering partner - a result of hundreds of years of psychological disorientation from the bondage of Africans on American soil. With only a council of eight men and women guiding the progress of society, will Black men and women ever find their way back to each other - or are they destined to be lost forever?
