George is in Nottingham where, nestling under the shadow of Nottingham castle, a collection of Victorian houses were built on an estate by wealthy lace factory owners. By the 1980s it had fallen into disrepair and work was underway to restore the estate, however Mandy's ugly shockingly poor 80's conversion is the worst and needs a lot of work to bring it back to its former glory. With the budget George has he would prefer to demolish and start from scratch but for Mandy that is not an option.
