Simon is in a virtual relationship with Felix, a guy who has "gone on a trip". While he is invited to read his books at an elementary school, he can't help but flirt on dating apps.
"Ghosted" by Felix and hospitalized after a diverticulitis attack, Simon wants nothing to do with dating apps. He receives a visit from his best friend, Jocelyn, and an embarrassing fan.
Simon has recovered and wants to meet. His meeting with Marc-Antoine is cut short when Marc-Antoine tells him that he doesn't think he's as good-looking in person. The author joins Jocelyn at the gym, but he still hasn't given up on Felix.
Simon gives up trying to find out who Felix is. Having learned that Simon is a guest at Le Tricheur all week, Marc-Antoine borrows the book Javotte from his roommate and, charmed by the author's humor, invites him back home.
Simon decides to hide from Jocelyn what he has been through with Marc-Antoine. He throws himself into an effervescent sexuality and spreads himself more than ever to the four corners of Montreal.
