The biggest dream of Ali Vefa, a genius with savant syndrome, is to become a doctor. Despite his disability and all the prejudices he encountered, he graduated from medical school, completed his internship, and all that remained was to specialize. He leaves the provincial city where he lives and sets out to start working as a Surgery Department Assistant at Istanbul Berhayat Hospital, where his spiritual father, Adil Erinc, is the Chief Physician.
Ferman tries to keep Ali in line, as he makes mistake after mistake on his first official day of work; however, Ferman himself is also in the grip of a secret problem. Ali does not listen to Ferman and that rises the in the hospital even more.
Trying to adapt to his new life, Ali learns a painful lesson and feels betrayed. A young couple's decision on their unborn child starts a legal battle in the hospital and divides the board in two. As time rinses, Ferman and Beliz come to the brink of an insurmountable abyss.
While Ali and Nazli try rescuing a patient by procuring an organ from the donor of another hospital, Belize urges Ferman take on Tanju's surgery which would decide the hospital's fate. will Ali be able to save the patient.
Ali takes his first case as a doctor. The case carries a personal dimension for Ali. For the sake of this case, Ali risks getting into trouble again.
